"Family Business" is a statement that celebrates the deep musical bonds that Jazz Mafia's formed over two decades. The 9 new songs feature 10 of Jazz Mafia's closest collaborators and conspirators, backed by the collective's trademark mix of beats and horns. Co-produced by Jazz Mafia's founder Adam Theis and the prolific Otis McDonald (who's been with Jazz Mafia for 15+ years), "Family Business" gives a snapshot of the collective's range – from moody and cinematic, to full scale, super-charged symphonic tapestries performed by Jazz Mafia's 50-piece orchestra, live in studio.

"Family Business" transcends a typical "features" album – its star studded lineup is simply a reflection of the humans who've put Jazz Mafia and themselves on the map through a shared quest for groundbreaking music that can also move a crowd. Like a family, all the artists might tread different (and often parallel) musical paths, but we're still part of a greater whole, always in support of one another, to push each other's music to new heights. That's what "Family Business" is all about.
