Another single from the current "Orchestral Explorations" album featuring Jazz Mafia's 18 piece Jazz Orchestra. For 20 years this group has been a mainstay of the San Francisco creative music scene, pushing boundaries while giving audiences something to bob heads to. This song mixes a breakneck tempo of Jazz/Drum N Bass with a contemplative and lyrical melodic foundation. The insanely virtuoso double time melody is a standout as well as the epic orchestration and blistering solo by writer/arranger Travis Sullivan (leader of Bjorkestra). Longtime JM videographer captured the performance at Treat Social Club back in 2014 and was gracious to spend his time combing through the archives assembling the footage and editing this live video together for you to relive the magic of that wonderful evening. Thanks Steve!
