The tracks on this album were recorded in 2008, the same recording sessions where Realistic Orchestra's "Symphonies From Down The Block" were recorded. The band and I were all incredibly proud when we released that album back in late 2008 but it unfortunately fell in the shadow of the ginormous and super ambitious 50 member “Brass, Bows & Beats” project which had taken over my life and many of the folks in our collective for that matter. Many songs from this 2008 date were released on Realistic's “Symphonies from Down The Block”, which was originally intended to be 2 albums, a part one and two. Well, Brass, Bows Beats took over and that second album was put on hold until recently when Fletch and I opened the sessions and were amazed at 5 of the unreleased songs in particular, which are all being released on this album finally.
